my dad told me a cool fact this morning: that in 2011 everyone’s year of birth + their age = 111
examples:
- I was born in 90 + I’m 21 = 111
- Dad was born in 56 + he’s 55 = 111
- Mom was born in 59 + she’s 52 = 111
- Bro was born in 86 + he’s 25 = 111
Uh yeah…..you should only be surprised if it doesn’t add up to 111.
Your age is a measure of the time since your birth year, which itself is a measure of the time since 0 (which represents the year 1900). So combining the two should always add up to the current number, 111 (which is the year 2011).
Next year, this will work for the number 112 - it’s not a coincidence!
