Also, I’ve loved listening to the interviews with the Canadian women athletes, where the interviewers continually push for them to say something about why they’re winning a disproportionate amount of medals, compared to the men. Consistently, they refuse to make comments about the men underperforming, but rather move towards talking about how they’re thankful to live in Canada and have the opportunity to compete. I’ve never been prouder to be Canadian.
